We’re a few weeks away from the most important event of Magento, Magento Imagine, and we feel so excited that we are part of this amazing community.
During the event, hundreds of projects built on Magento were submitted for the 2019 Imagine Excellence Awards in 15 categories like Best-in-Class Omnichannel Experience, Best Sales Channel Growth, B2B Growth, Best Unified Commerce Implementation, and so on.
Wagento wanted to be part of this amazing projects and we are proud to share with all of you that we are finalists in 2 of those categories!
1. Best Sales Channel Growth
Project: Universal Music Group > The Sound of Vynil
The Sound of Vinyl provides a powerful and convenient solution to help music enthusiasts discover vinyl and build their record collections. The service offers new and classic albums from a vast catalog of over 20,000 titles from all major labels and dozens of indie labels. In addition to being a full-service online store, The Sound of Vinyl provides an innovative recommendation engine that suggests albums based on a user’s personal tastes, and features exclusive content and album suggestions from top music experts.
Best B2B Growth Award
Project: Soak&Sleep
Soak&Sleep took the opportunity to perform a critical evaluation of other eCommerce platforms vs Magento Commerce. They didn’t like the revenue-share model of some vendors like Demandware (now Salesforce Commerce Cloud). “I looked around and Magento was still a no-brainer,” said Hunt. Soak&Sleep decided to upgrade to Magento Commerce (Cloud) but realized they needed to go live before Black Friday. Read the full Case Study.
